I have been capturing the essence of my subjects for over thirty years. My first sitters have children of their own and now I am being asked to capture a new generation. I work form life or from good quality photographs and if I understand the character of my subject, then this adds to the reality. Animals and pets also have characters, so the same applies to them.

The work necessary to create a unique portrait varies greatly. A sepia drawing will be less time consuming than a full colour pastel. Likewise a portrait from a photograph will take less time than a life sitting (Three sittings of two hours each will be required)

I do recommend that all my portraits are professionally framed as this will insure their protection and life expectancy. This attention to detail creates a unique, finished product, an heirloom for the future.
